RTFKT and Nike team up for Air Force 1 NFTs

Nike has steadily established the groundwork for their own Web3 initiatives over the past few years.

Alongside the soon-to-be-released Our Force 1 Collection, the brand has collaborated with the digital natives at RTFKT to produce a complete range of Air Force 1 NFTs, some of which were designed by Takashi Murakami himself.

RTFKT and Nike have made ten different versions of the Air Force 1, each of which is limited to a certain number. This is a step further into the world of Web3 with one of the most famous sneakers ever made.

Every pair is built on the same base, which is only slightly different from the sneaker we’re used to seeing designed by Bruce Kilgore.

Its base is mostly true to the original design, but the middle Swoosh has been changed with RTFKT’s logo. In addition, the shoes have a new dubrae that looks like something you’d find in a lab. The shoes also have a variety of different graphics.

From April 24 to May 8, RTFKT and Nike will hold “The Forging Event,” where people with qualifying digital collectibles can trade in their Air Force 1 NFTs for real, made-to-order sneakers.

The event will only happen for a certain amount of time, and there will be no extra cost to attend besides gas. You can buy any of the ten versions before the 24th on OpenSea and other secondary markets.
